You can permanently delete your Ancel account — and every piece of data associated with it — at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Option 1: In the app (fastest)
- Open Ancel and go to Settings → Account.
- (Optional) Tap Export data first if you want a copy.
- Tap Delete account and confirm with your password.
Option 2: By email (no app needed)
Email jc@wonderboycreative.com with the subject "Delete my Ancel account", sent from the email address on the account. We verify the request and complete deletion within 30 days, then confirm by reply.
What gets deleted
Everything tied to your account: your email and login, profile (age, sex, height, goals), all food and meal logs, weight entries, medication dose logs, notification settings and push tokens, and AI usage records. Food photos are never stored in the first place, so there are no photos to delete.
What is not affected
- App-store subscriptions: deleting your account does not cancel an Ancel Premium subscription billed by Apple or Google — cancel it in your device's subscription settings.
- Standard server backups age out automatically on a fixed schedule; deleted data is not restored from them.
Partial deletion
You can delete individual meals, foods, and weight entries directly in the app without deleting your account.
